Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer Level 3/4 to join the Sunnyvale, CA team. You will develop concepts, generate solid models, and produce GD&T-compliant drawings for launcher hardware used on Navy platforms.

The role requires on-site presence four days a week, with occasional travel. Internal candidates with a strong background in machine design and CAD will thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • BS in STEM with 5+ years (Level 3) or MS with 3+ years; or BS with 8+ years (Level 4).
  • Experience in machine design and drawing generation.
  • CAD modeling with NX, CREO, SolidWorks or equivalent.

The Marine Systems organization, part of Northrop Grumman Mission Systems, is searching for Mechanical Design Engineers in support of rapid growth in the Launcher Hardware organization. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
