Job summary

Qualifications

• Designs and drafts parts from concept to manufacturable drawings.
• Interprets GD&T, tolerances and drawing standards for production.
• Develops assemblies and bills of materials from models.
• Performs design verification to meet specs.
• Knowledge of DfX practices and manufacturability optimization.

Responsibilities

• Generates accurate manufacturing drawings from 3-D CAD models using Creo and SolidWorks.
• Creates layouts/models and detailed part drawings from specifications.
• Identifies material, process, and other pertinent specs for design and manufacturing.
• Manipulates BOM for manufacturability and efficiency.
• Validates design against requirements and drivers for production release.
