Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace US LLC in Torrance, CA seeks a Mechanical Engineer to develop ECS performance models for air and vapor cycle systems, and to validate system requirements. You will conduct thermodynamics analyses, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and contribute to model documentation and testing to ensure compliance with specifications.

Responsibilities include model development, validation against test data, and producing system-level documentation, with opportunities to work on

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Engineering Physics, or Aerospace Engineering or related engineering fields.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • 0 - 2 years of experience in mechanical, chemical, or related engineering fields.
  • Advanced degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Systems Engineering or related technical field with emphasis on thermal management system modeling and analysis, in lieu of experience.

YOU MUST HAVE

The annual base salary range for this position is $82,000.00-$102,000.000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Control Systems

Control Systems provides a wide range of mechanical products and value-adding services to Honeywell Aerospace customers, including aircraft manufacturers and operators, and agencies of the U.S. government. The business develops and manufactures air and thermal systems, mechanical components, wheels and braking systems. It also manages and operates facilities for the Federal government. Every 5 seconds, an aircraft lands with Honeywell Wheels and brakes. The entire fleet of U.S military fighters and trainers use Honeywell Cabin Pressure Systems.
