Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with high-speed cable assemblies or connector design is preferred.
• Knowledge of signal integrity and tolerance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, and develop cable assemblies and IO connector systems from proposal to qualifications.
• Perform Design FMEA, tolerance analysis, design for manufacturability, FEA, and risk analysis.
• Collaborate with marketing and the customer to define needs and performance requirements.
• Coordinate with internal and external manufacturing disciplines to optimize design for production.
• Lead product design reviews and verify GD&T usage.
• Define verification and product qualification test plans and manage first article inspections.
• Support transitions to manufacturing and mentor other engineers.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.
