Job summary

Waymaker Resource Group is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to support engineering and manufacturing projects across the nuclear, power generation, and industrial sectors. You will contribute to mechanical design, equipment development, technical analysis, and engineering solutions for a variety of industrial systems and applications.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Experience in mechanical design, equipment engineering, or industrial systems.
Familiarity with engineering drawings, CAD tools, specifications, or design calculations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and review mechanical designs, drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.
Support equipment design, component selection, design modifications, and technical evaluations.
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and project teams to support project execution.
Perform design reviews, resolve technical issues, and support testing and implementation activities.
Ensure designs align with applicable engineering standards, safety requirements, and project specifications.
