You will create 3D models, BOMs, and engineering drawings while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams through all project phases from concept to commissioning. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, 3+ years of experience, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent years of related experience.
• 3+ years of mechanical design engineering experience.
• Ability to think strategically.
• Proven track record of successful problem solving and design.
• Strong demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
• Strong critical thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask multiple projects.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with customers, co-workers and outside parties.
• Travel up to 5%.

Responsibilities

• Develop Bills of Materials (BOMs), customer and manufacturing drawings, and other related engineering documents.
• Create 3D models for design, development, and reengineering of products.
• Prepare process design and fabrication drawings for a wide range of products.
• Research and specify the correct power transmission method for the application.
• Coordinate all phases of mechanical engineering projects from concept to project closure.
• Evaluate equipment design for safety, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Optimize design for cost, quality, and manufacturability.
• Solve complex technical problems individually or with colleagues.
• Collaborate with project teams including clients and manufacturing to deliver completed projects.
• Develop and maintain expertise in selected technical areas.
