Blue Signal Search is partnering with a growing U.S. manufacturer to expand its engineering team in Spring Hill, FL.

This on-site role offers ownership across concept development, prototyping, validation, and production release for precision electromechanical products used in regulated environments. You will translate customer requirements into manufacturable concepts, lead prototype builds and design reviews, and collaborate with machining, quality, and supply chain teams to improve

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of mechanical design experience in manufacturing.
• SolidWorks experience with GD&T and drafting practices.
• DFM, BOM management, prototype dev, production support.
• Hands-on collaboration with manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and refine mechanical/electromechanical components for custom products in regulated environments.
• Translate customer requirements into manufacturable concepts, drawings, and specs.
• Lead prototype builds, design reviews, test planning, and production release.
• Collaborate with machining, assembly, quality, and supply chain teams to improve manufacturability, cost, and performance.
• Maintain CAD models, BOMs, records, and revision-controlled docs.
• Perform analysis on thermal, structural, tolerance, and material choices.
