Qualifications

• 5+ years of mechanical design or manufacturing engineering in a factory setting.
• Experience designing molds, tooling, or production equipment, preferably for food/confectionery.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks; experience with food-grade tooling preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings.
• Strong problem-solving, project management, cross-functional communication.
• FDA/USDA-regulated food manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of confectionery molds, tooling, fixtures.
• Collaborate with R&D, Commercial, Design, Engineering, and Operations to translate concepts into production designs.
• Support prototype development, line trials, and startup activities.
• Identify tooling limitations and implement solutions for product launches.
• Provide hands-on engineering support during equipment startups and changeovers.
• Maintain mold inventories and monitor tooling performance.
