Job summary

Progressive / SThree Group is seeking a CAD Designer / Engineer in Atlanta to support planning, design, construction, and maintenance efforts. The role requires strong CAD experience, walk-downs, and the ability to update P&ID drawings.

You will collaborate with multiple internal teams, ensure design standards, and assist in transmitting packages and specifications. Responsibilities include prioritizing safety, applying design processes, and estimating materials for projects, with day-to-day

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CAD experience.
• Experience with walk downs is required.
• Marking up and updating mechanical drawings (P&IDs).

Responsibilities

• Creating a safe work environment by putting safety first.
• Understanding the process used for planning, design, operation, construction, and maintenance.
• Understanding the functions and activities of various internal departments involved in design, construction, and maintenance.
• Understanding design practices and work processes.

• Estimating material for projects.
• Transmitting construction packages and supporting specifications.
