Job summary
Southern Company Services is seeking an experienced Drafter III to support engineering design, plant retrofit, and modification projects at our Forest Park, GA site. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with 2D and 3D CAD, engineering drawings, field walkdowns, and plant design environments.

Qualifications
- 7–10 years of drafting experience.
- Associate's degree in Drafting, Design, or related field preferred.
- Experience with CAD software and 2D/3D drafting.
Responsibilities
- Develop and revise 2D drawings and 3D CAD models based on engineering and design input.
- Update existing drawings for plant retrofit and modification projects.
- Support plant-site walkdowns to collect field measurements and dimensional information.
- Incorporate engineering comments, redlines, and field data into drawings.
- Work closely with engineers, designers, plant personnel, and vendors.
- Support or lead small drafting/design assignments.
- Ensure drawings meet applicable engineering standards, quality requirements, and project schedules.
