Jobot is seeking a dynamic Mechanical Design Engineer in Fort Worth, TX to design, develop, and test mechanical systems and components for diverse markets. The role emphasizes applying engineering principles, prototyping, analysis, and tool development within a collaborative team.

The ideal candidate will hold a PE license, have 5+ years of mechanical design experience, and be proficient with CAD and calculation software while adhering to building codes and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Active Professional Engineering License.
• Minimum of 5 years of mechanical design experience.
• Proficiency with CAD and calculation software.
• Knowledge of MEP calculations and design.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles to design mechanical systems and products.
• Develop and test prototypes of mechanical components.
• Analyze mechanical systems including FEA for structural and thermo‑dynamic scenarios.
• Develop and design calculation tools for the Engineering Group.
• Ensure designs meet safety standards and codes.
• Collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams and vendors.
