Job summary

Therma-Tron-X, Inc. (TTX®) is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design equipment lay-outs, general arrangement drawings, flow diagrams, and fabrication drawings.

You will work with Lead and Project Engineers to satisfy customer requirements from design through release to the shop floor. The role requires solving design problems, calculating flows, loadings, and weights, and creating a BOM for purchasing, fabrication and shipping.

Qualifications

• Requires related bachelor’s degree or technical degree with equivalent years of experience.
• Must be extremely proficient in AutoCAD 2D.
• Professional demeanor with upbeat attitude and strong interactions with coworkers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment lay-outs and general arrangement drawings.
• Develop flow diagrams and detailed fabrication drawings.
• Collaborate with Lead and Project Engineers to meet customer requirements and resolve design problems.
• Create a BOM for purchasing, fabrication and shipping.
