Houston or Singapore Location

Qualifications & Responsibilities:

• Experienced mechanical design engineer/advisor who has led and developed open-hole packers for downhole applications
• 10 years of design engineering experience and at least 8 years in the oil and gas industry
• Strong knowledge of open-hole completion products for varied operating environments
• Excellent understanding of API standards, including API 11D1 and API 19OH, especially in high-pressure, high-temperature (HP/HT) applications
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent for 3D modeling
• Ability to understand and explain FEA simulation and analysis
• Strong candidates will also possess adaptability, strong communication skills, and leadership potential
• Excellent problem-solving skills with efficient troubleshooting abilities
• Lead cross-functional projects, including product and prototype validation, and provide hands-on troubleshooting when needed
• Develop new products for emerging markets or modify existing products to meet new requirements
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field is required
