Job summary

United Employment Group, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design custom equipment for concrete pipe, manhole, and box culvert production. This fully remote role collaborates with engineering and sales to move designs from concept through production.

You will create complex SolidWorks assemblies, develop fabrication drawings, ensure safety and customer specs, and guide the shop floor during installation while managing multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Design, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks is required.

Responsibilities

• Design complex assemblies, weldments, and individual components using SolidWorks.
• Develop detailed fabrication drawings and assembly documentation.
