All World Machinery Supply is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to translate concepts into production-ready assemblies. You will own 3D modeling, drawings, and documentation, ensuring manufacturability and ISO-aligned controls while collaborating with procurement and manufacturing teams to optimize parts and processes.
The role focuses on designing in SolidWorks, creating BOMs, and delivering clear assembly instructions.
All World is your one-stop shop solutions provider for aftermarket machine tool spare parts, services, repairs, and custom-engineered applications. Our mission is to empower today's manufacturing customer with solutions that fit their personalized needs and budget. Our growth-oriented company operates on six primary values to create maximum results in the workplace: support, transparency, respect, innovation, dependability, and efficiency.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will translate concepts into production-ready mechanical assemblies that support customer projects from initial design through build. You'll own 3D modeling and drawing packages, ensure documentation accuracy, and collaborate closely to keep designs manufacturable and aligned with ISO controls.
Key responsibilities include designing assemblies/components in SolidWorks, creating detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings, developing purchase-item lists and complete parts lists, producing clear assembly instructions and CAD documentation, supporting proposals with process plans/models, and partnering with assembly/manufacturing to improve function and efficiency.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer onsite in Roscoe, you'll start by reviewing open design items, clarifying inputs with the team, and planning the next modeling/drawing milestones. Much of the day is spent moving between your CAD workspace and the shop floor-checking fit-up details, answering build questions in real time, and confirming that documentation matches what's being assembled. You'll also participate in quick project touchpoints to track progress from concept to final implementation, then close the loop by updating controlled files and releasing clean, organized packages for internal and customer use.
