Job summary

gpac is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer in Minnesota to design complete machines from concept to field deployment. You will work on mobile equipment and systems, collaborating with manufacturing and leadership to drive prototypes, testing, and field troubleshooting.

A growing Minnesota equipment manufacturer is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer who enjoys more than sitting behind a CAD screen.

We're looking for someone who understands how machines work, how their systems interact, and what it takes to turn an idea into equipment that performs in the field.

You’ll Work With

Who We’re Looking For

An engineer with hands‑on design experience involving mobile equipment, agricultural machinery, construction equipment, specialty vehicles, or similar complex mechanical systems.

Ideally, You Bring

• 4-8 years of relevant mechanical design experience

• Strong 3D CAD skills and practical engineering judgment
• An understanding of hydraulics, power transmission, and structural design

You don't need to know every system or product. You do need a solid mechanical foundation, curiosity, and the ability to solve problems beyond the drawing board.
