Qualifications

BSME preferred.
2+ years of experience in mechanical design and project management.

Proficiency with CAD systems such as SolidWorks or Inventor.

Responsibilities

Job Description

The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and evaluating products, creating bills of materials, and troubleshooting manufacturing issues. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve designs and processes while maintaining cost efficiency and reliability.

Responsibilities

Develop innovative mechanical designs with a focus on customer requirements.
Create drawings, bills of materials, and project documentation.
Assist with quoting, including scope of work development.
Provide technical support to the sales team.
Evaluate product designs for material selection, cost, and reliability.
Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure product manufacturability and troubleshoot issues.

Requirements

Design for manufacturability experience, including sheet metal and structural fabrication, welding, and manufacturing techniques.

Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach.
