Job Juncture seeks a detail‑oriented Mechanical Design Engineer to support reverse engineering, product reliability, and the design of precision‑machined parts and assemblies. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering or related field.
  • Experience creating 3D CAD models and engineering drawings.
  • Understanding of mechanical components, assemblies, tolerances, and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with reverse engineering, part analysis, machine design, manufacturing, inspection, control systems, or project management is preferred.
  • Ability to analyze physical parts and translate findings into accurate manufacturing documentation.
  • Strong analytical and technical problem‑solving abilities.

  • Create accurate 3D CAD models and detailed manufacturing drawings.
  • Develop inspection plans that clearly communicate dimensional and quality requirements.
  • Evaluate designs for manufacturability, reliability, function, and long‑term performance.
  • Identify missing, conflicting, or incomplete design information and determine solutions.
  • Collaborate with customers, vendors, manufacturing, inspection, and other internal teams.
  • Respond to technical questions and resolve engineering or production issues.
  • Organize project requirements, establish priorities, and independently manage work through completion.
  • Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while supporting multiple projects and deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Advanced mechanical-engineering knowledge gained through a bachelor’s degree, equivalent education, or relevant professional experience.
  • Experience creating 3D CAD models and detailed engineering drawings.
  • Understanding of mechanical components, assemblies, tolerances, and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with reverse engineering, part analysis, machine design, manufacturing, inspection, control systems, or project management is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to analyze physical parts and translate findings into accurate manufacturing documentation.
  • Strong analytical and technical problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to learn new products, processes, and customer requirements quickly.
  • Strong organizational skills and consistent project follow-through.
  • Excellent attention to detail and recall.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive, conscientious, accountable, and solutions-oriented work style.
