Job summary

Manpower Group (USA) in Grand Rapids, MI, is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our client’s engineering team. You will design and document projects to meet technical and quality standards, and develop detailed drawings using SolidWorks.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, at least 2 years of machine design experience, strong problem solving and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of machine design experience.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks software required.

Responsibilities

• Design and document projects to meet technical, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Develop detailed design drawings and calculations using SolidWorks.
• Review project requirements and submit concepts for approval.
• Create and manage Bills of Materials and sub-assembly drawings.

What's Needed?

• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics is preferred
