Key Responsibilities

• Engineer mature products as assigned.
• Participate in new product development programs.
• Manage new products to AQP (Advanced Quality Planning) goals and disciplines (e.g., APQP, FMEAs).
• Develop new product designs and drafting to meet growth objectives.
• Conduct and coordinate product reliability testing to meet industry standards.
• Evaluate new products and components to ensure design requirements are met.
• Assist in establishing material specifications and requirements.
• Assist in marketing and quality control with customer contact.
• Work with customers to initiate new products.
• Provide design and development support.

Required Skills And Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in product or system development.
• Proficiency in 3D SolidWorks and 2D drafting.
• Experience in design, development, validation testing, and production launch of new innovative products.
• Ability to design and develop test stands and fixtures.
• Strong technical writing skills for specifications and reports.
• Understanding of quality systems and statistics.
• Experience in valve design is desirable.
