Job summary

The Haskell Company is seeking a Design Associate to deliver engineering and design solutions in support of project deliverables and schedules. You will collaborate with design staff to grow knowledge in mechanical engineering concepts and project delivery, using drafting software to produce construction documents.

Responsibilities include energy code compliance, equipment selection, and development of control drawings while maintaining project budget and schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/engineering degree from an accredited program (NCARB or ABET preferred).
• EiT/FE certification preferred.
• Demonstrated engineering design proficiency and knowledge of applicable codes.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and design solutions to support project deliverables and schedule.
• Develop mechanical and plumbing system designs and documentation.
• Perform code research and establish basis of design for systems.
• Create complete construction documents including drawings and equipment schedules.
• Support cost control and value engineering with project team.
