Job summary

Masis Professional Group in New Hampshire seeks a versatile engineer to design and develop mechanical equipment, assemblies, and automated systems using CAD tools. The role covers creating and maintaining engineering drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing documentation.

You will develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI programs, and integrate motors, pumps, valves, sensors, instrumentation, VFDs, and other industrial components.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience designing mechanical equipment using CAD software such as SolidWorks.
  • Experience programming or troubleshooting PLCs.
  • Understanding of industrial automation and control systems.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and electrical schematics.
  • Familiarity with industrial motors, sensors, valves, instrumentation, and related components.

  • Experience with PLC/HMI platforms such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, AutomationDirect, or similar.
  • Experience with VFDs, analog instrumentation, digital I/O, communications, and industrial networking.
  • Experience with automated machinery, process equipment, industrial systems, or other complex engineered equipment.
  • Experience taking equipment from concept through design, fabrication, programming, testing, and commissioning.
  • Experience working for an OEM, machine builder, engineering firm, or systems integrator.
