Job summary

Batchelor & Kimball in Conyers, GA is seeking a Commissioning Specialist (Mechanical) to lead checklists, observe tests, and coordinate with field teams. You will work independently with minimal oversight on complex mechanical construction projects.

Responsibilities include following communication plans, tracking schedules, collaborating with technicians and PMs, and driving customer satisfaction through issue investigation and corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Consistent dependability and availability.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction field and office environment.
• Aptitude to learn new systems.
• General Mechanical Systems Knowledge.
• Knowledge of commissioning processes, documentation and implementation.
• Interpret controls one line drawings for integration with equipment is a plus

Responsibilities

• Understanding and following communication plans with internal and external stakeholders to communicate project status
• Understanding project schedules, milestones, critical path, ability to identify future looking planning needs and constraints
• Collaborate with technicians, team leads, and other PMs to perform project Cx tasks, meet schedule requirements, communication project progress, and review of plans / specifications and submittals’
• Support customer satisfaction initiatives by building customer relationships, investigating concerns, implementing corrective actions as directed
• Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with internal and external customers
