Job summary

Fidelity Warranty Services, Inc. (FWS) is seeking a Mechanical Claims Specialist to join our expanding customer contact team.

You will transition from the shop floor to an office setting, applying your automotive knowledge to assess and process mechanical claims and to discuss repair steps with both technical and non-technical audiences. Qualified candidates have at least 2 years of automotive experience, strong communication skills, and a solid understanding of vehicle repair processes.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of proven experience as an automotive mechanic or in a related mechanical field.
• Strong understanding of vehicle repair processes and the ability to discuss elements of the repair with both mechanical and non-mechanical individuals.
• Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly and effectively articulate information to callers, colleagues, and stakeholders over the phone.
• Prior success in a customer service role including experience resolving complex requests and ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction
• ASE certification is a plus.

Are you a skilled mechanic looking to shift gears in your career? Fidelity Warranty Services, Inc. (FWS), a subsidiary of JM&A Group and part of the larger JM Family Enterprises Inc., is seeking a Mechanical Claims Specialist to join our expanding customer contact team.

In this role, you’ll transition from the physical demands of the shop floor to a comfortable office environment where you will leverage your automotive expertise and in-depth knowledge of vehicle mechanics to assess and process mechanical claims. This role pays $25-31/hour.
