Job summary

Pureflow, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical CAD Designer to support water purification and treatment systems. You will prepare flow diagrams, P&IDs, equipment layouts, and skid drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD for customer installations.

You will maintain CAD files, generate Bills of Materials, and assist in revisions across multiple ongoing projects. The role requires a technical degree and 3+ years of drafting experience; travel may be required and you will report to the CAD/Engineering Lead.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field preferred.
• 3+ years of professional drafting and design experience preferred.
• Proficient with SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with a design mindset.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to handle multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare flow diagrams and P&IDs.
• Prepare equipment layout and utility connection drawings for proposed installation at customer site, taking onsite measurements, as necessary.
• Prepare skid frame, skid assembly, and subassembly drawings using SolidWorks software.
• Maintain customer CAD files in an organized manner, using proper version control.
• Prepare Bills of Materials from fabrication drawings.
• Prepare as-built drawings for turnover packages.
• Assist in drawings for new sales projects.
• Revise drawings during a project, as required, and issue new copies for review.
• Perform other project design and documentation duties as requested.
