Let’s Talk about the Role

As the Mechanical Assistant you will assist with all Mechanical Maintenance activities as directed by Senior Mechanical or Maintenance/Supervisor staff to support clients’ installations, maintenance, upgrades, inspections, and ongoing operations.

  • Learn on the job training; follow direction
  • Proactive in safety and use all proper PPE
  • High level of workmanship and quality work
  • Basic hand and power tool knowledge
  • Ability to work unsupervised on any part of an equipment maintenance project
  • Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
  • Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, lasers, and plumb bobs
  • Dismantle machinery or equipment
  • Repair or rebuild large industrial equipment
  • Move machinery and equipment
  • Assembly and installation of equipment
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Special Role Requirements
  • High School Diploma preferred
  • Preferred mechanical experience or completion of a technical program
  • Experience in industrial outage maintenance desired
  • Willing to work 12‑hour Day or Night Shift
  • 100% travel required

The hourly wage range for this position is $23.00. Employees may be eligible for overtime.
