Job summary

Intermountain Electronics in Centralia, IL is hiring a Mechanical Assembly Technician for the second shift to install and assemble electrical components on E-houses, metering skids, and switchgear. You will work 3:00pm–12:30am, Monday–Friday with every other Friday off, performing assembly, wiring, and quality checks while following safety practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma + 1 year factory labor experience
• Ability to read wiring schematics and layouts
• Experience with hand tools
• Detail oriented with quality focus
• Team player with minimal supervision
• Willing to travel up to 5%

Responsibilities

• Install electrical equipment and components on various projects
• Assemble frameworks, frames and panels on skids
• Check quality and ensure mechanical integrity
• Align and fit parts for wiring and assembly
• Repair or replace faulty components
• Torque assemblies to specification
