Job summary

Intermountain Electronics is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician for the Day Shift at our Denver facility. You will install cable trays, buss bars, doors and siding components on modular electrical equipment and assist with assembly of control centers and related devices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus one year experience in heavy industrial manufacturing.
• Ability to read and understand wiring schematics and layout diagrams.
• Experience with various hand tools.
• Self-motivated and capable of working in a team environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency to achieve high quality results in mechanical assemblies and wiring.

Responsibilities

• Install cable trays, buss bars, and electrical components.
• Assemble structural frames and panels for electrical equipment.
• Follow quality processes to verify mechanical integrity of units.
• Troubleshoot, repair, or replace components to meet specifications.
• Operate or assist with equipment like cranes and forklifts as needed.
