Job summary

PrideStaff - Greenville is seeking an energetic and mechanically inclined Assembly Technician for our client in the Fountain Inn area. The role focuses on efficient assembly and inspection of products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with 1st shift Mon-Thu from 7am to 5:30pm and occasional OT.

Candidates should have at least 2 years in manufacturing assembly, be able to lift 50 lbs and 35 lbs consistently, and demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and

• Must have at least 2 years of experience in manufacturing assembly.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools to assemble complex components.
• Physical capability to lift 50 lbs occasionally and 35 lbs consistently over a 10-hour shift.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow written process instructions.
• Reliability with a Monday–Thursday schedule and willingness to overtime.
• Coachability with desire to learn and advance into higher-level technician roles.

Responsibilities

• Complete assembly and inspection of products across multiple lines per standards.
• Perform quality inspections to ensure conformance.
• Participate in 5S and safe-work initiatives to keep the facility organized.
• Maintain a safe work area and wear PPE as required.
• Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency and safety.

PrideStaff - Greenville is seeking an energetic and mechanically inclined Assembly Technician on behalf of our growing client in the Fountain Inn area.

Assembly Technician Primary Responsibilities include:
Your main responsibility is the efficient assembly and inspection of products, ensuring all manufacturing standards are met while maintaining a safe work area.

• Production & Assembly: Complete assembly and disassembly tasks across multiple product lines; ensure all work complies with established process standards and cycle times.
• Quality Assurance: Perform raw material inspections and preparation; conduct final testing and inspection tasks to ensure 100% product conformance.
• Workplace Maintenance: Participate in environmentally-appropriate maintenance habits, including 5S initiatives, to keep the facility organized.
• Safety Culture: Work safely within the requirements of assigned areas, consistently wearing required PPE and contributing to a proactive safety culture.
• Continuous Improvement: Assist the team in identifying ways to improve process efficiency and safety standards.

Assembly Technician Desired Skills and Experience include:

• Required Experience: Must have at least 2 years of experience in manufacturing assembly.
• Mechanical Aptitude: Strong ability to work with tools and a desire to build/assemble complex components.
• Physical Capability: Ability to lift 50 lbs steel casings occasionally; 35 lbs consistently and stay active throughout a 10-hour shift.
