Marlen International is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician to produce high‑quality machines across product lines. You will follow schematics and BOMs, assemble components, and perform wiring tasks with a focus on precision and safety.

The Mechanical Assembly Technician is responsible for producing high‑quality machines for all Marlen product lines by following detailed instructions, schematics, and blueprints. This role ensures precision and efficiency in assembling machines and subassemblies, performing wiring tasks, and conducting quality checks to meet specifications. The assembler maintains a safe and organized work environment, adheres to company standards, and supports operational excellence.
Must satisfactorily pass background check, post‑offer drug screen, and physical prior to employment.
The Mechanical Assembly Technician must frequently stand, sit, and walk while performing assembly tasks. Kneeling, crawling, and climbing are required only on an occasional basis. The role requires precise hand dexterity to handle tools, small parts, wiring, and measuring equipment. Employees must reach, twist, and bend while maneuvering around machinery on an occasional basis. Performs intricate mechanical tasks within confined or restricted access areas infrequently. The position also involves lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling parts and tools essential to the job, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds; however, most items lifted are 10 pounds or less, and assist devices are used for heavier loads. Clear visual acuity is necessary for reading drawings, inspecting components, and performing precision tasks, and effective communication is required in a manufacturing environment.
The work environment is a manufacturing setting with moderate to high noise levels. The work area is not completely temperature‑controlled and can be hot and cold at times. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this job.
