Job summary

HaFSBX is seeking an Assembly & Operations Technician in Maplewood, MN to support assembly, testing, shipping, and day-to-day operations. You will work with Engineering, Project Management, and Warehouse teams to assemble equipment, maintain inventory, and ensure quality standards are met.

This hands-on role emphasizes hands-on building, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position offers growth opportunities and a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical degree, trade school education, or related training preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, warehouse operations, construction, automotive, or related field preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Forklift experience is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assemble material handling equipment using engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards.
• Perform mechanical assembly using hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
• Support equipment testing, troubleshooting, and final preparation before shipment.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, packaging, and freight coordination.
• Load and unload materials using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle counts and material staging.
• Perform quality inspections on incoming materials and completed assemblies.
• Process inventory and shipping transactions within the ERP system.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Operations teams to improve assembly processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Role Overview

As an Assembly & Operations Technician at HaFSBX, you'll support the assembly, testing, shipping, and day-to-day operations that keep our projects moving.
