Job summary

HaFSBX in Maplewood, MN is seeking an Assembly & Operations Technician to support assembly, testing, shipping and day-to-day operations. You'll collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, and Warehouse teams to assemble equipment and maintain inventory.

This hands-on role offers growth in manufacturing and operations, with emphasis on quality, safety and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical degree, trade school education, or related training preferred.
• 1–3 years in manufacturing, assembly, warehouse operations, construction, automotive, or related field preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with hand/power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Forklift experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble material handling equipment using drawings, work instructions, and quality standards.
• Perform mechanical assembly with hand and power tools.
• Support equipment testing, troubleshooting, and final prep before shipment.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, packaging, and freight coordination.
• Load/unload materials using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory and support cycle counts and material staging.
• Perform quality inspections on incoming materials and completed assemblies.
• Process inventory and shipping transactions in the ERP system.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to improve assembly processes.

Role Overview

As an Assembly & Operations Technician at HaFSBX, you'll support the assembly, testing, shipping, and day-to-day operations that keep our projects moving. Working closely with Engineering, Project Management, and Warehouse teams, you'll assemble custom equipment, maintain inventory, support shipping and receiving, and help ensure every project meets our quality standards.
