Job description

Description

Enjoy working with your hands and seeing a finished product come together?

Kleen-Rite Corp. is looking for a mechanically skilled Assembly Technician to help build, test, and prepare car wash equipment for our customers. You’ll work with tools, parts, and mechanical components to turn equipment orders into finished working systems such as coinboxes and pump stands.

You don’t need car wash industry experience, but you do need a solid mechanical foundation, confidence using hand and power tools, and the ability to learn new equipment and processes.

What you’ll do:
  • Assemble equipment using mechanical components, plumbing, pneumatic systems, and electrical wiring.
  • Follow drawings, schematics, and build instructions to complete accurate, quality work.
  • Test finished equipment, identify problems, and make adjustments before shipment.
  • Coordinate parts needs, document your work, and help prepare equipment for delivery.
  • Work with the production team to keep builds moving and maintain a safe, organized shop.
Requirements
What You Need to Succeed:

Practical mechanical skills: You’ve assembled, installed, maintained, or repaired equipment and understand how components work together.

Experience with tools: You’re comfortable measuring, drilling, cutting, grinding, and using hand and power tools safely.

Problem-solving ability: You can work through an issue, follow instructions, and recognize when something isn’t working correctly.

Attention to detail: You care about building equipment that works properly and holds up for the customer.

Reliability and willingness to learn: You follow through, work well with others, and can stay productive independently.

Experience with electrical wiring, three-phase power, plumbing, pneumatics, or reading schematics is especially valuable. Relevant backgrounds may include equipment assembly, maintenance, mechanical repair, fabrication, or equipment installation and service.

The role involves standing, bending, kneeling, using tools, and regularly lifting up to 50 pounds, with equipment assistance for heavier items.

Bring your mechanical skills—we’ll help you learn our equipment!
