Open positions are on our swing shift Monday through Thursday, from 3:25 p.m. to 1:55 a.m., and day shift Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of and comfort with computer systems and programs, including Microsoft Office Suite and Epicor.

Responsibilities

  • Perform drilling, reaming, countersinking, set up, riveting, bonding, and other assembly duties using hand and power tools.
  • Perform tool set-ups as required by specifications, utilizing work orders and documents.
  • Ensure part(s) meet GD&T specifications per customer drawing, utilizing measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gage, and other measuring equipment needed to complete work.
  • Maintain equipment and work area in a safe, clean, and orderly condition.
  • Mentor and assist in training other technicians and program participants.
  • Perform a weekly 6S program to improve workflow and maintain safety of workers in the area.
  • Handle hazardous materials safely, following proper labeling and disposal procedures.
  • Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintain them over time.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.

The pay range for this role considers several factors, including but not limited to required experience, skill level, prior training, education, and other business needs.

Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of and comfort with computer systems and programs, including Microsoft Office Suite and Epicor.
  • Ability to read blueprints and specifications to determine component parts, details, and hardware, and follow assembly sequences.
  • Ability to identify, organize, estimate, and recognize differences or similarities with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform mid-level math skills efficiently and accurately (including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fraction and decimals).
  • Ability to be trained and certified in specific BAC assembly processes.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate with others, English preferred.
  • Ability to identify discrepancies between engineering drawings and physical parts.
  • Knowledge of fastener specifications and adhesive requirements for the aerospace industry.
  • Knowledge of 6s and lean concepts and ability to help move forward with achieving department goals.
  • Ability to accept criticism and calmly and effectively deal with stressful situations.
  • Willingness to complete tasks as instructed by lead and Supervisor.

  • Infrequent exposure to excess noise levels, necessitating the use of Hearing Protection
