Job summary

Aerotek in Minnetonka, MN is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to assemble water filtration machines, perform sub-assembly and final assembly, cut and glue PVC pipes, deburr, install pumps, instruments, and pipes, and read blueprints. You will use measuring tools and hand/power tools, working from blueprints in a clean, safety-focused environment.

The contract-to-hire role is onsite in Minnetonka with a pay range of $25.00–$30.00 per hour.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
2+ years of experience in mechanical assembly or construction-type work.
1+ year of experience using tape measures.
Experience with PVC pipe is a nice-to-have.

Responsibilities

Perform mechanical assembly of water filtration machines, including sub-assembly and full machines.
Cut and glue PVC pipes, and deburr pipes.
Assemble pumps and fasten parts.
Install instruments and pipes.
Use measuring devices, including tape measures, for accurate lengths.
Operate saws to cut materials.
Utilize both hand and power tools for assembly.
Work from blueprints.
Move products/materials to and from machines.
Proficiency in mechanical assembly.
Ability to read and work from blueprints and schematics.
Competence with hand tools, pneumatic tools, and power tools.
Mechanical testing and troubleshooting skills.
