Job summary

PremierTech Systems and Automation is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler for our USA Hub in Montgomery, AL. You will perform assembly and testing prep for sub-assemblies and final products, reading blueprints and pneumatic schematics to ensure proper torque and quality.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, loading shipments, and maintaining a clean, safe work area while adhering to health and safety practices. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Technical degree in a mechanical program is preferred.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills are essential.
• At least 1 year of mechanical assembly experience in a project-based shop.
• Ability to read mechanical blueprints and pneumatic schematics.
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools listed above.
• Preferred: experience rigging and handling heavy components.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/32 inch.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical tasks on sub-assemblies and final product prep for testing.
• Provide mechanical troubleshooting and testing of subassemblies and final product.
• Prepare and load final product for shipment.
• Plan sequence of operation considering machine setup, materials, and end product.
• Assemble equipment per drawings/blueprints; maintain torque values; ensure quality.
• Verify completed work meets specifications and safety requirements.
• Keep work area clean and organized; maintain safe operation of equipment.
