Job summary

Motor Controls, Inc. is seeking an Assembly Technician to accurately assemble control panels for various applications. The role requires reading prints and diagrams, physical strength to lift panels up to 50 pounds, and following assembly instructions with precision to meet production timelines.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, use hand and power tools, and ensure compliance with safety protocols while collaborating with team members for continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to calculate dimensions accurately and read decimals.
• Basic math skills and understanding of metrics.
• Pay rate commensurate with skill level.

Responsibilities

• Lift heavy panel boxes onto work station and determine correct mechanical and/or wiring schematic for that model.
• Install back plates and punch holes in metal boxes with accurate measurements.
• Evaluate assembled structures for damage or misconfiguration and suggest corrections.
• Use tape measures, scales, squares, and hand tools to assemble panels.
• Read and interpret drawings and prints precisely to meet time and accuracy requirements.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE; work as a team member.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English.
