Qualifications

Experience with tape measures and measuring devices.
Able to identify mechanical parts and electrical components.
Occasionally lift parts/sub-assemblies up to 50 lbs.
Basic proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Assemble and sub-assemble mechanical components and kits, incl. steel parts.
Read BOMs, follow layouts and assembly drawings.
Set torque wrenches accurately and follow processes for improvement.
Adhere to environmental and safety policies and be a strong team player.
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management.

We are looking for Mechanical Assembler Level 2 for our Retrofit Team. This position will be based in Wendell, NC.

As a Mechanical Assembler you will be responsible for the building and assembling of Low and Medium Voltage Electrical Distribution Equipment,such as Switchgears, Switchboards and Breakers.

Shift Hours: 6:00AM- 2:30PM

Hourly Rate: $20.36

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

2+ year of experience in mechanical assembly or a related mechanical field.
1+ years of experience working with standard hand and power tools, both pneumatic and battery operated
Knowledge of torque wrench and applied torque values
Experience with using a tape measure and other measuring devices
Able to Identify mechanical parts and electrical components
Ability to occasionally lift parts or sub-assemblies weighing up to 50 lbs.
Basic proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.

Record job transactions, read BOMs, follow layouts and assembly drawings.

Adherence to Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety policies, with a commitment to continuous improvement and be a strong team player.
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Management.
