Harmonic Drive LLC is seeking a Precision Assembler II to assemble and test high-precision products. The role requires following established procedures and ensuring products meet customer orders and specifications.

The position is full-time, hourly, with hours from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm and a strong emphasis on accuracy, quality, and teamwork in a professional laboratory environment.

Description
Summary/Objective

The Precision Assembler II is responsible for assembling and testing high-precision products of varying complexity under minimal supervision. This person will also be responsible for the quality and quantity of work performed.

Essential Functions

  • Assemble a variety of subassemblies, standard and special products using established procedures.
  • Accurate fitting, aligning, and adjusting required to very close tolerances or precision fits subject to strict inspection.
  • Set up, and test complete products to ensure that units meet specification and customer order requirements
  • Other responsibilities as required.

Work Environment

This job operates in a dedicated laboratory in a professional manufacturing environment. Employees in this role routinely use electrical test equipment, standard hand tools, and some office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time hourly position that operates Monday through Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm.

Travel is not required for this role.

Required Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ Years in an assembly environment
