Job summary

Polaris Inc. is hiring an assembler to join a team that builds Walker Evans shocks from start to finish. You will use hand and power tools, follow work instructions, and uphold Polaris quality standards in a fast-paced, agile environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and may include a technical degree. Candidates should be able to work in the United States without sponsorship, maintain 5S discipline, and complete production documentation accurately.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Technical degree in a related field or 0–2 years of related mechanical assembly experience.
• Familiar with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures within mechanical assembly.
• Related manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical assembly of products with complex functions requiring independent judgment.
• Understand and follow established procedures and processes to safely produce quality parts.
• Recognize, communicate and document safety concerns.
• Troubleshoot and adjust to build a quality product.
• Perform housekeeping and 5S to keep the department clean, safe, and well organized.
• Complete work documentation accurately such as production orders, tags, and quality sheets.
