Job summary

Qualifications

• 1–2 years previous mechanical hands‑on experience, preferably machine or sub‑assembly building.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and schematics, and follow instructions.
• Excellent math skills and understanding of basic concepts.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and perform all assignments safely.

Responsibilities

• Obtain parts for assembly and move to work area with crane and lift equipment.
• Assemble structural and mechanical components according to specs and drawings.
• Drill, ream, pin holes and fit components; check alignment and finish surfaces as required.
• Test operation of assembled units and record dimensions on inspection sheets.
• May assist in training new hires and follow EP instructions.
