Job summary

6AM City, LLC is seeking an Aerospace Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This role focuses on mechanical and final assembly of aerospace components, reading blueprints, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

The successful candidate will work with hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and precision measuring instruments to verify fit and function, maintain documentation, and support 5S practices. Aerospace experience is preferred, with a strong eye for detail and reliability.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1-3 years of mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints and assembly drawings.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and measuring equipment.
  • Familiarity with quality standards and inspection processes.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent attendance and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical and final assembly of aerospace components and assemblies.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, work instructions, and engineering specifications.
  • Assemble small parts using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Install hardware including screws, nuts, bolts, rivets, clips, bushings, and other mechanical fasteners.
  • Verify proper fit, alignment, and functionality of completed assemblies.
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections to ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Identify and report nonconforming materials, parts, or assemblies.
  • Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety procedures and company quality requirements.
  • Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with 5S standards.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve assembly issues.
  • Meet daily production goals while maintaining exceptional workmanship.
