ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Produces components and finished hydraulic pumps, valves, and motors on various product lines by assembling parts and subassemblies.
- Prepares work by studying parts lists and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
- Reads and interprets schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
- Positions or aligns components and parts manually or with hoists.
- Uses hand tools, assembly fixtures, or power tools to assemble parts.
- Examines connections for correct fit and fastening of parts and subassemblies.
- Resolves assembly issues by notifying supervisors for additional resources.
- Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs.
- Ensures a safe and clean work environment by following procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of assembly experience; hydraulic assembly experience is a plus.
