Qualifications

  • 5+ years of mechanical assembly experience, preferably Aerospace.
  • Self starter with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work with little to no instruction and supervision.
  • Previous machine shop background preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Mold processing support: complete resin fill, oven processing, demolding, mold cleaning, and material movement back to the loading station.
  • Work with fasteners such as bolts, screws, rivets, nuts, helicoils, inserts, and adhesives.
  • Align and fit sub and structural assemblies by installing and connecting parts, fittings, and assemblies.
  • Cut, trim, file, bend, and smooth parts, verify sizes and tolerances for fit and clearance.
  • Use basic hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, hammer, ratchets & sockets, ruler, calipers).
  • Works within a small team/group.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of previous mechanical assembly experience, preferably working with Aerospace products
  • Self Starter
  • Ability to work with little to no instruction and supervision
  • Previous machine shop work practices background preferred
WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
