Mechanical Assembler - 2nd Shift

Job Description:

Job Family Definition:

Responsible for executing activities in product areas to meet production, quality, cost, and predictability goals. Tasks include basic manufacturing assembly, component installation, machinery operation, data compilation, and possibly customer design and software use for exempt roles.

Management Level:

Utilizes developed skills and knowledge to complete complex assignments independently, with limited supervision and instruction.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform manufacturing tasks with independent judgment.
  2. Follow documentation and instructions for testing, inspection, or rack building.
  3. Identify process improvements and seek guidance as needed.
  4. Support training of new employees.
  5. Operate multiple machines and support quality assurance.
  6. Manage machinery and tools, select appropriate processes, and assist with product lifecycle.
  7. Audit materials and builds for quality.
  8. Coordinate team tasks.
  9. Meet customer expectations, e.g., Customer to Order (CTO).
  10. Must be a US Citizen

Education and Experience:

  • Associate degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years manufacturing experience.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Fluent in English and local language.
  • Strong math and reading skills.
  • Manual dexterity and physical capability.
  • Proficient with tools, procedures, and basic computer skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to multitask and apply technical knowledge.
