Summary
  • The Assembler will assemble or install components as instructed using required hand tools and/or power tools.
  • Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools and materials.
  • This includes prepping chassis, installing frames, hosing, and sub-assemblies onto the unit using templates or reading measurements. Tests proper function of final product/units.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: Manufacturing industry experience preferred
  • Certifications: none
  • Other required KSA (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):
    • Understanding of the product and how the product is expected to perform by the end user.
    • Understanding of mechanical engineering and metal fabrication.
    • Limited knowledge of diesel engines and air systems.
    • Proficient use of hand tool, pneumatic tool, and battery-operated tools. Knowledge of fabrication: Cutting and welding
