Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Assembler to join our team in Mechanicsburg, PA. In this role, you will modify, assemble, and disassemble electric AC/DC motors based on customer specifications. You'll work in a shop environment using a variety of tools while collaborating with engineers and quality teams to ensure high-quality products.

Job Overview

We are seeking a hands‑on Mechanical Assembler to join our team in Mechanicsburg, PA. In this role, you will modify, assemble, and disassemble electric AC/DC motors based on detailed customer specifications. You’ll work in a shop environment using a variety of tools while partnering with engineers and quality teams to ensure high‑quality, safe, and reliable products.

What You’ll Do

• Perform in‑house modifications on electric AC/DC motors according to customer requirements
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble motors of various sizes
• Use hand, power, and pneumatic tools to complete builds and modifications
• Conduct daily equipment checks to ensure tools and machinery are safe and functional
• Collaborate with team leads, engineers, and quality personnel to meet production and quality standards

What We’re Looking For

• Experience with mechanical assembly, small motors, or engine repair (automotive or similar)
• Experience in automotive repair or mechanics is a strong plus
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work with precision
• Comfort working in a hands‑on, shop environment
