Mechanical Assembler – Must-Have Requirements
- Previous mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or industrial production experience preferred.

Mechanical Assembler – Position Summary
The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for the manual assembly, testing, and inspection of mechanical hoist products and related components. This position requires the ability to read assembly drawings, follow product routers, use hand tools and fixtures, and operate test equipment to ensure finished products meet established quality standards. The Mechanical Assembler will also assist with miscellaneous part orders, product repairs, and other manufacturing activities as needed.
Mechanical Assembler – Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform manual assembly of mechanical hoist products and related components according to assembly drawings and work instructions.
- Locate, read, and interpret assembly drawings associated with various hoist products.
- Operate test equipment, fixtures, and other tools used throughout the hoist product line.
- Follow product routers to manage workflow and ensure each assembly progresses through the required production steps.
- Learn and identify catalog numbers associated with various finished products and assemblies.
- Inspect components and finished assemblies for quality and proper assembly.
- Properly identify, control, and separate non-conforming parts to prevent their use in production.
- Assist with filling and shipping miscellaneous parts orders.
- Learn and perform basic hoist repair procedures while following the required process for moving repairs through the appropriate production areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures, quality policies, and established work instructions.
- Assist other departments or work areas as needed to support overall operations.
Mechanical Assembler – Additional Qualifications
- Mechanical assembly experience in manufacturing, industrial equipment, machinery, or a similar environment is preferred.
- Experience working from blueprints, assembly drawings, diagrams, or technical documentation is a plus.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, gauges, fixtures, and mechanical testing equipment is helpful.
- Ability to learn product specifications, catalog numbers, assembly procedures, and repair processes.
- Good communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable attendance and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to cross-train and assist in other areas of the operation when needed.
