Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Mechanical Assembler in Wisconsin for an all-onsite role. Responsibilities include building bulk container handling equipment from drawings and BOMs, performing mechanical and simple electrical assemblies, and ensuring quality workmanship.

You will read blueprints, use hand tools, and support inventory and shipping preparations while following Kanban processes. English fluency and safety rule comprehension are required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED or 1–3 months related experience or equivalent combination.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

Responsibilities

  • Use drawings and schematics to assemble components per BOM.
  • Engage in reduction of non-value-added work.
  • Perform mechanical and simple electrical assemblies with hand tools.
  • Complete quality checks for the Busse Blue Books.
  • Document labor, material movement and scrap reports.
  • Maintain Kanban inventory ordering and prepare equipment for shipment.

Work Model

This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

Position Summary

The Mechanical Assembler requires a wide range of skills to prepare bulk container handling equipment both mechanically and simple electrical assemblies.

Major Responsibilities
  • Use Busse machine drawings, machine assembly drawings, controls schematics and relevant bills of materials to proficiently build according to drawings and problem solve where needed.
  • Engage in the reduction and/or elimination of non-value-added work throughout the organization.
  • Utilize hand tools proficiently in performing the following tasks: Structural assembly, Mechanical drive assembly, Fluid control assembly, Guard and cover assembly, Mechanical assembly, simple electrical assembly. Work must represent quality workmanship, neatness, with acceptable efficiencies.
  • Complete quality assurance checks for the Busse Blue Books.
  • Provide accurate documentation skills that includes labor reporting, material issue/returns, material moves, and material scrap reports.
  • Execute Busse inventory re-ordering policies that includes "Kanban".
  • Prepare equipment for shipment including, but not limited to, machine teardown.
Required Education / Experience / Skills

General supervision: routine duties are performed with minimal supervision. Standard practices or procedures allow me to proceed alone at routine work. Occasional check of work while in progress. Work is reviewed upon completion.
