Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking an assembler for the Industrial Gas Filtration & Generation (IGFG) Division in New York. The role involves assembling machines, wiring, piping, and testing units per blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities include assembling swing arms, cabinets, and control panels; installing blowers; electrical testing of units and ionizers; and adapting to fast-changing priorities while following safety and environmental policies.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1–2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to read from a schematic.
  • Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

  • Completes assembly of cabinet.
  • Custom wiring, custom piping, and assembles control panels.
  • Installs blowers.
  • Electrical testing of all units, cells and ionizers.

Position Summary

Assembles machines, equipment, and their subassemblies following blueprints and other written and verbal specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Performs other duties as necessary.
Qualifications
Education
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Experience
  • 1 – 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Skills
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools such as tape measure, wrenches, drills, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of power tools such as drill press, meters, cranes, and hydraulic tools.
  • Ability to read from a schematic.

  • Pay Range: $19.33/hr to $29.97/hr
  • Participation in Annual Incentive Program
